A project bringing more residential units to the Howard Avenue corridor in the Central Business District is poised to get underway in the coming months.
Contractor and developer Beau Baudier has received approval from the Historic District Landmarks Commission to renovate a three-story warehouse building at 822 Howard Ave. into 15 new apartment units. The building is next to WDSU-TV’s studios.
The commission also approved construction of a penthouse that will include three additional units.
