With state, federal and private money coming in, Delgado Community College has fueled a steady growth of facilities at locations outside its main campus near City Park as it continues to rebuild its enrollment after Hurricane Katrina.
In the past 12 months, Delgado has initiated expansion projects at its area satellites while preparing to open a new campus in eastern New Orleans later this year. Two additional locations â€” at Churchill Technology and Business Park and at the planned New Orleans Culinary and Hospitality Institute at the former ArtWorks building â€” are in the works over the next two years.
