Chef Jim Richard, who operates Stinky's Fish Camp in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., will open the restaurant Trenasse inside the New Orleans InterContinental hotel, reports Canal Street Beat.
The hotel at 444 St. Charles Ave. was purchased by Southwest Value Partners in January 2013.
The Trenasse restaurant, located on the hotel's ground floor, will be an upscale version of Stinky's, which specializes in seafood.
No opening date was given. The restaurant, including the kitchen and dining room, will be more than 3,000 square feet.
