French Quarter hotel Maison Dupuy, which has been closed since September due to damage Hurricane Isaac caused, is set to reopen today.
The hotel at 1001 Toulouse St.
The hotel and banquet rooms, as well as the fine dining restaurant Le Meritage and its casual eatery, Bistreaux, are all now open, Steve Ferran, the hotel’s managing director, said today in a statement.
Despite renovations that came down to the last minute, the hotel is booked for Super Bowl weekend.
Fillmore Capital, a California-based investment group, recently purchased the hotel, which its affiliate, Fillmore Hospitality, is now managing. The hotel is expected to undergo a more extensive renovation later this year with a tentative re-launch date slated for October.
