2 airlines add nonstop flights...

Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport has announced new nonstop service to Baltimore-Washington and Nashville, Tenn., on Southwest Airlines and new nonstop service to Kansas City, Mo., on Delta Air Lines.
Delta Connection will begin daily nonstop service to Kansas City June 6 with a 40-seat Embraer regional jet aircraft. The flight will leave Kansas City at 8:35 a.m. and arrive in New Orleans at 10:35 a.m. before leaving New Orleans at 10:50 a.m. and landing in Kansas City at 1:05 p.m.
Southwest, which already had a morning and afternoon nonstop flights to
Baltimore and Nashville, will increase its frequency to three daily nonstop flights Oct. 3 with a mid-day departure.
The new New Orleans to Baltimore schedule will leave at 10 a.m. and arrive in Baltimore at 1:25 p.m. before turning around at 3:45 p.m. to return to the Crescent City. The Nashville flight will leave Tennessee at 12:50 p.m. and arrive in New Orleans at 2:20 p.m. before leaving New Orleans at 2:45 p.m. and arriving in Nashville at 4:10 p.m.
