Ace Hotels, the super-hip chain with locations in Portland, Ore., and New York, is headed to New Orleans. The brand will open its new location inside a 1920s Art Deco building on Carondelet Street, where formerly the Max Bennett Furniture Company lived.
The boutique hotel will have 234 rooms along with a restaurant, bar and rooftop swimming pool. The hotel will also retain the building’s original Art Deco detailing, and the brand’s signature lobby hangout spaces. Stumptown Coffee will also open its 10th store.
The Ace Hotel is already taking reservations for bookings beginning March 14. Prices run at $189 per night for a medium room with a king- or queen-sized bed, while the double doubles with two double beds run $209 per night. They’ve also launched packages for Jazz Fest, which takes place April 22 through May 1. Medium rooms will be discounted to $169 and suites, complete with turntables and acoustic guitars, will be $899 per night.
The Ace Hotel also expanded to Pittsburgh, with a 63-room hotel inside a 100-year-old YMCA building.
