NOPD TO HOST COMMUNITY MEETING IN EIGHTH DISTRICT TO DISCUSS CONSENT DECREE PROGRESS

NEW ORLEANS  The NOPD will host a community meeting tomorrow, Monday, June 27, to inform residents of the Eighth District about progress made in complying with the federal consent decree and to discuss ways the department is working to engage with the community.

 

 

The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at St. Jude Community Center, located at 400 N. Rampart Street. The public is invited to attend.

 

The meeting is part of a series of community meetings the NOPD will hold over the next two weeks to update the community on the progress the department has made in complying with the federal consent decree and to discuss ways the department is working to engage with the community.
