November 30 2007 | Latest NewsDear Board Members:
On Friday, December 21, 2007, the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation will host 400 to 500 under-served kids from the greater New Orleans area at the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. The Sports Foundation has requested financial contributions for its Youth Outreach Programs which take place during the New Orleans Bowl festivities.
The programs consist of two informational seminars and host the youth for dinner and the New Orleans Bowl game. The students invited to attend represent public, recovery and charter schools in New Orleans. The Conflict Resolution Seminar delivers a positive message and guidance on resolving conflicts, issues and disputes in non-violent ways. The Initial Eligibility Seminar is directed at high school aged kids and focuses on college eligibility and scholarship requirements and the application and registration process.
It is my hope that you will consider making a contribution on behalf of the hotel association to support the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation’s Youth Outreach Programs. We hope to raise approximately $10,000 toward this effort. Please respond with your level of commitment by email to Natasha@gnohla.com.
Thank you for your consideration and prompt attention to this important community project.
