What is a Reverse Trade Show?
The Reverse Trade Show is an event that allows allied members the opportunity to meet with hoteliers at one time and in one location. General Managers and representatives from various hotels will be in the booths while allied members rotate through the various booths, meeting with the representatives, marketing their company's products and services, and making valuable contacts within the industry.
Followed by the General Membership Meeting at 10:30 am
This year’s Trade Showcase will be in the form of a “Reverse” Trade Show, and will be held in conjunction with our General Membership Meeting on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. The reverse trade show this year will occur from 9:00 am until 10:30 am and will be followed by the General Membership Meeting, to which you are invited.
You will be expected to provide the hotel representatives that are present with a single 8½ by 11 piece of paper detailing your business’ services. You are permitted to utilize both the front and back of the one-pager, and we ask that you 3-hole punch the paper for the hotel representatives to insert into a binder. We suggest that you staple your business card to the sheet as well. Finally, you are permitted to distribute one promotional item to the hotels prior to the trade show. The item must be of equal or smaller size than a bottle of water.
The cost of attendance is $350 per member. This will afford you the opportunity to sit down and meet with 20 hotel representatives for 2 minutes each.
Delicious food and refreshments will be provided compliments of the JW Marriott.
